I'm pleased to announce the winner of last week's raffle for a copy of Mara Price's new picture book, Grandma's Chocolate. The winner, Kathy McCullough, was drawn from the 12 people who stopped by to comment on day 2 of the blog tour.
Congratulations, Kathy! I hope you enjoy Grandma's Chocolate.
Thanks for commenting everyone. Please check back soon! Next up - a post on, Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World), the marvelous new Maira Kalman exhibit at the Skirball Cultural Center. Find out why a Snickers bar is a work of art and more - in highlights from a discussion between Kalman and Ingrid Schaffner, senior curator, Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia.

Dear Ms. Megan,
I have no doubt that the Snickers Bar is a work of art. O' how many days I have passed entralled by the brown creamy goodness and I shall dwell in the house of Nestle almonds forever.
Sincerely,
CocoaNut
Dear Cocoa
Apparently a chocolate theme pervades my blog.
Please stay tuned.

I got the book this weekend! I loved it! Very interesting, charming and sweet (ha ha). Read it with a cup of Mexican hot chocolate. :) Can't wait to share it with the kids at the library...
Hi Kathy
So glad you received the book! I hope the kids enjoy it!
